6-Week College Transition Support

The first 6 weeks of college can be overwhelming for any student. But don't worry, IEP College Prep can help, we offer transition support to all first-year college students. We'll work with your student during the first 6 weeks to help them get settled into their new college environment.

During our check-ins, we will discuss important topics such as registering for accommodations, disclosing their need for support with their instructors, seeking support outside their accommodations, reviewing their time management skills, and having regular conversations to see how they're doing. After each meeting, we'll will send a follow-up email to both the student and their parents to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

Throughout the 6 weeks, we'll gradually reduce our support, allowing the student to become more independent and confident in their abilities as a college student. It's important to note that we are only consultants, and it is up to the student to put in the effort and do the work.
